This document assumes the installer has working knowledge of hand tools and of the target machine in question. Physical modification of machine may be required, including modification of machine panels and internal modification to accommodate cables or harnesses. It is recommended that the instructions contained herein be performed by individuals who are qualified to perform these tasks.   2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.

  1. Secure the mounting bracket from the C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket to the C-6601 Spacer Plate using the C-5702 Chase Nipple and the C-5703 Nut.
  2. Feed the remaining harness ends through the open face of the Coin Vault.
  3. Spread the C-6602 Vault Mount Bracket wings outward before insertion to lock bracket into place.
  4. Feed remaining harness ends through the C-6602 Vault Mount Bracket.
  5. Insert the C-6602 Vault Mount Bracket into the Coin Vault.
  6. Feed the remaining harness ends through the combined C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket and C-6601 Filler Plate.
  7. Secure the combined C-5414 F2 Mounting Bracket and C-6601 Filler Plate to the C-6602 Vault Mount Bracket with the C-0144 Screws.

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document by connecting the C-5211 Power Adapter Harness to the power distribution panel inside the machine.

    1. 120vac: Connect the brown and blue wires to connector #2 closest to outside of machine and #4 on terminal side closest to circuit board.

    2. 240vac: Connect the brown and blue wires to connectors 3 and 5 on the terminal side closest to the circuit board.

    3. Secure the green wire beneath the ground screw.

  2. Connect the opposite end of the C-5211  Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602 Power Converter.

  3. Connect the C-5500-60 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Connect and Mount Reader

  3. Connect the free end of the Coin Sense Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500-60 Power Harness to port 1.
  5. Secure the FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
