Installation

Step 1 - Install Mounting Bracket

  1. Place the C-5700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.
  2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.
  3. Refer to FasCard Mounting Guide for further instructions.

Step 2 - Connect Power

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101Spade Taps provided.
  2. Connect the C-5210 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps. Connect the opposite end to the C-5602 Power Converter.
  3. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Step 3 - Connect Replacement Alliance Coin Control Harness

  1. Disconnect the existing control harness from the H11 connection on the Machine Control Assembly.
  2. Plug in the C-5110 Alliance Coin Control Harness into the H11 connection.
  3. Ensure the Coin Vault wires are connected (White with orange stripe wire should be connected to the white with black stripe wire that has the marked connector.). The second set of wires are to put the machine in and out of service mode. Leave connected for normal operation.
  4. Ensure dip switch #3 is set to the off position to put the machine into coin mode.

Step 4 - Connect Machine Start Harness

  1. Connect the C-5300-NC Machine Start Harness to the coin drop connection on the Alliance Coin Control Harness.

Step 5 - Connect and Mount FasCard Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through mounting hole as described in F1 Reader Mounting Guide.
  2. Connect the free end of the C-5300-NC Machine Start Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 4 (C-5500 Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
  5. Program the card reader address as described here: How to Program Address on a FasCard Reader.
