Installation

Step 1 - Install Mounting Bracket

  1. Place the C-5700-TEMP Drill Template on the desired mounting location.
  2. Verify included harnesses will reach desired location without encountering interference from internal machine components.
  3. Refer to FasCard Mounting Guide for further instructions.

Step 2 - Connect Power

  1. Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document using the C-5101 Spade Taps provided.
  2. Connect the C-5336 Power Adapter Harness to the installed spade taps. Connect the opposite end to the C-5602 Power Converter.
    1. Secure the ground wire beneath a chassis screw.
  3. Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

Step 3 - Connect the Combination Coin Sense Harness/Machine Start Harness

  1. Disconnect the Coin Drop from the Machine Control Assembly.
  2. Connect the C-5330 Combination Harness white connector to the harness connected to the Coin Drop.
  3. Connect the C-5330 Combination Harness red connector to the Machine Control Assembly where the Coin Drop was previously connected.
  4. Connect the remaining connector to the Coin Input connection on the Machine Control Assembly.

Step 4 - Connect and Mount FasCard Reader

  1. Feed remaining harness ends through mounting hole as described in F1 Reader Mounting Guide.
  2. Connect the free white connector of the C-5330 Combination Harness to port 2 (Pulse Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  3. Connect the free black connector of the C-5330 Combination Harness to port 3 (Coin Sense Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  4. Connect the free end of the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to port 4 (C-5500 Power Harness Connection Port) as shown in the image above.
  5. Connect FasCard reader to base as described in the FasCard Mounting Guide.
  6. Program the card reader address as described here: How to Program Address on a FasCard Reader.
